Jeffrey's of Westfield is located in the heart of downtown Westfield, New Jersey. We are chef owned and operated. Our a la carte menu features creative American cuisine and includes meat, fish and pasta dishes, all complimented by Jeffrey's outstanding sauces and reductions. Daily specials are offered, and we will always strive to honor your special requests. Our memorable desserts are all homemade. Don't forget to try Jeffrey's signature lavender ice cream! We have a full liquor license and have a seperate bar area. Sandwiches and lighter fare, as well as our regular dinner menu are served in the bar. Start off with one of Jeffrey's Martinis! Many selections of wine are offered by the glass, or choose a bottle from our award winning wine list. We have recently been honored as the only restaurant in Westfield to ever receive a Wine Spectator Magazine Award of Excellence

for our wine list. Our American spirit is proudly displayed throughout the restaurant with an eclectic mix of Americana decor, including the flag decorated plates we often use! We gladly accept and appreciate reservations! We look forward to the pleasure of your company for lunch or dinner.

About Our Chef

Jeffrey Rust, the chef/owner of Jeffrey's of Westfield is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. While attending the Culinary Institute, Jeffrey began apprenticing with the legendary chef Catherine Alexandrou Bordeaux, at Westfield's Chez Catherine Restaurant. After graduating, Jeffrey continued to work with Catherine, who became his teacher, friend, and mentor. Jeffrey went on to work at several other reknowned restaurants in the area, including Restaurant Raphael in New York. In 1998 Jeffrey opened his first restaurant, the Island View Cafe in Hague, NY. Here he garnered many accolades, including being named "The perfect place," by the Lake George Mirror. One of the specialtites of the Cafe was Jeffrey's Lavender Ice Cream, which attracted a loyal following. It has become a signature item on his current dessert menu. In 2001 Jeffrey purchased the original Town House Restaurant, one of Westfield's oldest existing restaurants. Of particluar pride to Jeffrey was the fact that he became the fourth generation in his family to own a business in Westfield! A total renovation was done on the restaurant, and today the decor and ambience reflect the patriotic spirit which Jeffrey is known for. In 2002 Jeffrey added a custom designed temperature controlled wine cellar, and expanded the wine list to include over 540 selections. Jeffrey is completely dedicated to his customer's enjoyment of food and wine, and welcomes any special requests, as well as your comments and suggestions.
